What am I talking about?

First Confessions, the anthology I did with Aja Moore and Laurianne Uy consisting of short comics dealing with, well, first confessions! Our topics could be anything and our couple could be anyone, so there's a wide variety of comics available for your viewing pleasure. ♥

Happy 4th of July! I've been spending it doing what I think many people are doing, that is, nothing much. ;)

So I've been working more on Overland (or what used to be Lucky No. 8), and it's loads of fun! I'm not sure if I've ever had a world that opened itself to me so readily as this one. Usually it takes a bit more digging and pondering about the comic and its characters for me to really figure out who's who and what's what and the like.

This guy is Ari's boss, and "brother" (he likes to call himself that for various reasons, none that Ari particularly cares for), a type A imp and an all around jovial guy, despite his understandably devilish looks. It's funny, as I was picking out his color scheme I didn't at all think that he looked a bit like the Joker from Batman, but now that I think of it...he kind of does. Huh! Not sure if that's a bad thing or a good thing, but it certainly is amusing.

I hope to do a few more of these little character doodles later on, so stay tuned for that. As it is, I have to prepare for some fireworks viewings so I'm going to have to cut this short!
